It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Marie Nogues on September 14, 2024, at the age of 90.

Born on July 4, 1934, in the Basque town of Arhansus, France, Marie brought joy and warmth to all who knew her.

In 1961, Marie immigrated to the United States and settled in San Francisco, holding her Basque heritage close to her heart.

She was a devoted mother to her four children: Francoise, Nicole, Alain, and Eric, who carry forward her legacy of love and resilience.

Marie was a proud grandmother to 10 grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to 15 great-grandchildren, bringing her immense joy. She was also a loving sister and aunt to her family in France.

Known for her generous spirit, loving energy, and unwavering support for her family and friends, Marie's passion for life and devotion to her family will forever be remembered.

A visitation will be held in her honor at Evergreen Mortuary on Tuesday September 24 from 4:30 to 6:30 PM. A Funeral Mass, celebrating her life, will be held on Wednesday, September 25th at 11am at Notre Dame Des Victoires Church in San Francisco.
