Linda Franchisteguy Orellana gazterik hil da San Frantziskon.
Leon eta Gracianne (Mindurry) Franchisteguyren alaba zen, aita Aintzilakoa eta ama Ahatsakoa, biak Baxe Nafarroan.
Richard Orellanarekin esposatua, Daly Cityn bizi ziren.
Gure doluminik zintzoenak bere semar Rick-i, familia osoari, ugari zeuzkan lagunei eta San Frantziskoaldeko euskal komunitate osoari, bertako parte hazi baitzen eta bera eta bere aita-ama eta familia izugarri ezagutuak baitira.

Linda J. Orellana
July 5, 1959 – June 5, 2021
Linda was the cherished wife of Rick Orellana, beloved daughter of the late Leon and Grace, and adored sister of the late Michelle Franchisteguy.
A native San Franciscan, Linda was a graduate of St. Anne's of the Sunset School, Presentation High School (class of 1977), and the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Linda found her career passion early in life and worked in the fashion industry for over forty years.
Linda was incredibly talented and artistic. Her handmade gifts were treasures. She found her Zen in her craft room, where her talents were unleashed.
While Linda was taken far too early, she taught us many lessons. Through her example she taught us to live. Linda enjoyed the good things in life. She loved spending time with her friends. Linda was always game for an aperitif and some good cheese. She never met a designer accessory she didn't love.
Linda was very proud of her Basque heritage and an active and popular member of the Basque community.
She is survived by her adoring husband, Rick, their Husky, Rico, many relatives and friends in France, and countless friends here in the US who considered her family.
She was so strong and courageous and faced adversity with grace and dignity. She leaves behind a huge void in the hearts of those who loved her.
A memorial mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Notre Dame des Victoires, 566 Bush Street, San Francisco, CA 94108.
