Lima: Spreading the Legacy of Our Culture

Born and resident in California, Xabier Berrueta is a well-known Diaspora Basque with a deep commitment to the culture that his parents instilled in him and with which he grew up in the Basque Cultural Center of San Francisco. Xabier has participated as director in the part related to the Basque Pelota competition in the XVIII Pan American Games that concluded last August 11 in Lima, Peru. We asked him for a testimony and a personal commentary on the event.
