"Memory and Emotion, Women's Stories: Constructing Meaning from Memory" Konferentzia bihar hasiko da Boiseko BSUn

PUBLIZITATEA

Bihartik aurrera eta lau egunez --martxoaren 15etik 18ra-- Idahoko hiriburuko Boise State University (BSU) Estatu Batu barne eta kanpoko hamarnaka irakasle eta ikertzaileren bilgune izango da, BSUko Munduko Hizkuntzen Departamentuak eta Eloise Garmendia Bieter Euskal Ikasketa Katedrak antolatutako "Oroimena eta emozioa, emakumeen istorioak: oroimenetik esangura eraikitzen" izenburua hartu duen 1. Nazioarteko Kultur Ikasketa Konferentzia tarteko.

Boise, AEB. Idahoko Humanities Council, BSU Unibertsitatea bera eta Etxepare Euskal Institutuaren eskutik, Konferentzia ostegunetik igandera bitartean garatuko da goiz eta arratsaldeko saiotan, BSUko Nere Lete eta Larraitz Ariznabarreta irakasleak koordinatzaile. Partaidetza urririk da eta zabalik publikoari eta BSUko Boiseko kanpusean eta hiri erdiguneko aretoetan egingo da. Hizlari nagusiak Haitiko Évelyne Trouillot eta Euskal Herriko Marijo Olaziregi izango dira, martxoaren 16an eta 17an hurrenez hurren, hizpide harturik "Challenging Memories to Rewrite History" (oroimenari eraginez historia berridazteko) gaia Trouillot-en kasuan eta "Beyond the Motherland: Memory and Emotion in Contemporary Basque Women's Fiction" (Amalurraz haratago: oroimena eta emozioa euskal emakumeen fikzio garaikidean) Olaziregirenean.

Izan ere, Konferentziak Emozioa, Oroimena eta Generoa gaiak kultur ikasleten ikuspuntutik aztertu nahi izango ditu, honelako itaunak plazaratuz, esaterako: "Emozioak gogoratzen laguntzen digu? Kulturek desberdin oroitzen dute? Nolako eragina daukate emozioek iraganeko oroitzapenak oroitzean? Nolako eragina dauka oroimenak egokitzapenean? Norbera banan bana edo kolektiboki berritzeak oroitzera ausartzea esan nahi al du? Edo ahaztea ezinbestekoa da gainbizitzeko?".
