Salt Lake City, UT, 1967 ~ Reno, NV, 2016

Thomas "Paul" Pazell, 49, beloved son, husband, father, uncle, grandfather and brother passed away at his home in Reno, NV August 8, 2016. Paul was born June 9, 1967 in Salt Lake City, UT to Thomas M. Pazell and Marjorie Susaeta Pazell.

Paul had a heart of gold and was always first in line to help anyone in need. When he touched your heart, you understood what it felt like to be deeply loved. He was kind, thoughtful, fun-loving, witty, charming and a true friend. Paul had impeccable morals and values. It was common practice for him to search out owners of lost property and ensure everything was returned. He loved to make people laugh. He had this wonderful, unique ability to uplift any situation with a humorous remark. He was also a man of many talents and had an extremely high aptitude for mechanical problem solving. Consequently he was the "Go-to" guy, both on the job and as a neighbor, for anything that needed fixing.

Paul loved many things. He had a passion for sports and was an avid football fan. In his youth, he excelled as a player in both baseball and football and was a key member of the 1983 Judge Memorial HS state champion football team. He continued this passion into adulthood as a fierce competitor for the fantasy football league and as his son's number one football fan. Paul loved the outdoors and especially the mountains. He loved food and old western movies. He loved life. More than anything, Paul loved his family and he will be missed by them more than words can express. Paul is survived by his wife, Tina Pazell, children, Amanda Pazell, Nicholas Pazell & Robert McMillan, grandchildren, Jayde & Jazmyne McMillan, parents, Tom and Margie Pazell, brothers Anthony Pazell and David Pazell, sister Angela Pazell, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday August 18 at the Immaculate Conception Parish in Copperton, Utah at 11:00 a.m. Friends may visit family one hour prior to the service.
