With very sad hearts we have to say goodbye to our loving mother. On 6/6/21 she very slowly and silently took her last breath under the watchful eyes of her children. She had suffered a stroke the Thursday before and had never come back to us. She hung on long enough for her grandkids to all say their goodbyes.
She grew up in a small town called Bussunarits in France, way up in the hills of the Pyrenees mountains. She lived a simple life with her being the oldest of 6 children. She told stories of the depression in France and the day the American planes flew over head for the attack on Germany.
She came to America with her brother Arnold and began life in Oakland, Ca. It was here she met our Dad, Bernard, got married in 1950 and started their family.
She worked hard at many different places sewing for cleaners and dress shops. She started her own business as a seamstress and became very known for her high quality and inexpensive work.
In 1997 she moved to Pleasanton, Ca where she began a new chapter in her life. She became known as the "Flower Lady". Her beautiful and colorful yard brought much joy to many people who would stop and comment on her glorious yard. She loved her new life in Pleasanton and gained a whole new group of friends.
Gradually she watched all her younger siblings pass on, Michel, Jean, Arnold, Catherine, and Pierre. She lost her husband Bernard, after 46 years of marriage in 1996 and also her son-in-law Tony in 2021. This wore heavily on her heart and brought sadness.
She is survived by her children Joseph (Linda) Pebet, Adrienne Padilla, and Bernadette (Larry) Davidson. By her grandchildren Justin (Brittany), Noelle, Joshua (Jessica) Pebet, Jennifer (Nathan) Link, Sarah, Jeremy, and Monique Davidson. Also great grandchildren Jackson and Jayden Pebet and Noah and Kayla Link and Sloane Pebet.
She will be missed and forever loved by all.
