La navarra de Erratzu Maritxu Iturburua ha fallecido en San Francisco a la edad de 83 años. GB.

Born February 21, 1940, passed away on June 9, 2023. Know to her family and friends as Maritxu. Maritxu was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Juan Iturburua.

Loving sister to Josefina Jaimerena. Chrished aunt to many nieces and nephews in the Basque Country and here in the United States.

A native of Erratzu, Spain and a proud resident of San Francisco for over 60 years. Maritxu worked her whole life but preferred to travel and spend time with Juan. Mostly visiting their families in the Basque Country or spending time in the mountains fishing, camping and anjoying scenery.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 9am to 10am at Daly City. A funeral will be held at St. Gabriel's Church in San Francisco at 11am. Private burial.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society or charity of your choice in memory of Maritxu Iturburua.
