Laure was born to Colleen (Lang) and Tony Jausoro on April 11, 1957
She was predeceased by her father Tony, and her brother, Joel Jausoro. She is survived by her only child, daughter Rachel Tautfest (Glen) of Newark, TX, and her mother Colleen Kabai of Kent, WA. In addition she is survived by brother Tim Jausoro of Alameda, CA, along with three loving sisters, Elise Rech of Bellevue, WA, Patty Jausoro of Los Angeles, CA, and Gina Jausoro of Santa Cruz, CA. She is also survived by one grandson, Avery Tautfest, along with many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
She died peacefully, with her daughter holding her hand, at Merrill Gardens in Buren, WA from early onset Alzheimer's.
She attended St. Francis grade school, then graduated from Highline High School in Burien where she was involved in the choral and jazz music programs. She was an accomplished piano player.
She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Washington State University and then began working on a Masters from Eastern Washington University while teaching piano in Spokane, WA.
Laure's career included many years in technical support at the corporate level for Egghead Software and QFC, followed by twenty years as a project manager at REI in Kent, WA. Her kindness, compassion and love will be missed and remembered by many.
A celebration of life will be held at Merrill Gardens at Burien at 1:00 PM on Saturday, 6-22.
