Escribe Lisa Zabalegui en Facebook desde Reno, Nevada:
Estimada Kathy Arriaga.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, Kathy. She was diagnosed with a glioblastoma brain tumor on 11/2/20 and passed on 11/25/2020. She passed away peacefully at daughters home with her sister by her side.
She was a native Nevadan, born 3/23/46 at Washoe General. Kathy was the youngest of the 4 Schofield girls. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed and was devoted to her Wooster Class of 64 reunions and always looked forward to her gatherings with her Wooster girls. She was also proud and honored to be a part of the local Basque community. Kathy lost the love of her life, Jesus (Jess) Arriaga 4th of July 2017 and never fully recovered from the loss, hopefully they are dancing together.
She was predeceased by her parents, Sterling and Berlie Schofield, oldest sister Myrna Murphy (2014) and next to oldest sister Sharon Oxborrow (2020) and her loving husband Jess. She is survived by her children, Tawnie Cunningham (Larry), Tommy Lockett, and Jesse Arriaga (Rob Sherman), grandchildren Jestin Phipps, Casey Lockett, Rylan Grace Simons and great grandson Charlie Lier Phipps. Sister Loretta McAfee, half sister Sherry Schofield, brother in law Neil Murphy, cousins, numerous nieces, nephews and her forever friends.
At this time there will be no actual Celebration of Life due to Covid, Tawnie has been doing a heartfelt memorial on Facebook and will continue til end of January. If you have pictures or stories you would like to contribute we would love it.
Kathy "loved" cake, so in celebration of this beautiful soul, have a piece of cake in her memory!
