Nota necrológica de Joe Larralde remitida desde Buffalo, Wyoming:
A celebration of life for Joe Larralde Sr 73 years old lifetime Buffalo resident who passed away suddenly of natural causes Monday morning at the Johnson County Health Care Center in Buffalo will be held at the family home at 700 Birch Street in Buffalo on Saturday, August 15th starting at 2:00pm. A visitation will be held at the Harness Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday running concurrently with the gathering from 1:00pm until 9:00pm. A private family interment will be held later. Donations in Joe's memory may be made to the St. Francis Animal Shelter in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo. Online condolences may be made at www.harnessfuneralhome.com.
Joseph Felix Larralde was born on March 15, 1947 in Buffalo, Wyoming to John and Alice Larralde. He grew up and went to school in Buffalo and attended Johnson County High School. He worked at various jobs in Johnson County and was married on November 22, 1967 in Buffalo to Genevieve Pierson and they made their home in Buffalo. Joe went to work for the Jacobs Ranch Mine in Gillette where he worked for 27 years until he retired. He and Genevieve continued living in Buffalo until his death.
Joe was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at their mountain cabin. He was an accomplished Sheep Wagon builder and loved herding sheep with his father but his passion was spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Genevieve Larralde of Buffalo; one son, Joe Larralde JR. and his wife Raelene of Gillette; other daughter, Paula Betz and her husband Robert of Buffalo and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
