Florence was born in Fresno, California, to Jose and Manuela Esnoz, on August 8, 1925. She graduated from Fresno State School of Nursing and was a surgical nurse for 48 years at Mercy and Memorial Hospitals in Bakersfield, California. After the death of her husband, Dick Baroncini, she resumed his cattle business. She was known for her fabulous Basque cooking and her passion for gardening. She will be missed by many in both of her professions and fondly remembered for her strong work ethic and ambition throughout her life. Her dedication to her craft was an inspiration to all.
She is survived by her daughter; Joël Stewart (George), grandsons; Pascal Stewart and Anthony Stewart (Jenny) sister; Juanita Eyherabide, brother; Joe Esnoz and numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the pandemic, there will be a private graveside service. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association or the charity of your choice.
