After suffering a tragic accident at home, Dominic left us suddenly and too soon on the afternoon of February 10th. He is survived by his adoring wife, Jackie, beloved parents Pierre and Marie Jeanne, cherished brother and sister-in-law Daniel and Laura, and devoted in-laws Therese, Leon and Nicole. Dominic was preceded in death by his good friend and doting father-in-law, Pierre Ausquy; who we know met him with a grin and deck of cards in the life beyond.
Dominic was always quick to smile or crack a joke, unwaveringly loyal, and effortlessly loved by all who knew him. He was especially worshiped by his nephews and nieces Jean Marc (Lindsay), Maidere (CJ, Amaia), Sylvia and Marielle, and leaves countless happy memories in the care of his many aunts, cousins and friends.
Grief is the price you pay for love. Dominic, though, would not want to be remembered with sorrow. Instead, he would ask us to celebrate the good times and raise a well-filled glass in honor of a life well-lived.
Funeral services will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, All Saints Mausoleum Chapel at 1500 Mission Rd. Colma, CA on March 11 at 9am followed by a celebration of his life. In lieu of flowers, a donation to your favorite charity would be preferred.
