Clarice Gamboa, age 86, beloved wife of the late Ralph Gamboa; loving mother of Greg (Julie) Gamboa, the late Lisa Gardner and Ralph Gamboa III; cherished grandmother of Jacob Matthew Gamboa and Cole Hudson Gamboa; dear sister of the late Marshall (Carol) Sewell; adored aunt of Danna (David) Sewell-Deacon, Ernie Merkley, Pam Merkley, the late Kenny (Terri) Merkley, Lenny Merkley, Kevin Linam, Lisa Schiff, Darrel (Deb) Sewell and Randy (Jessica) Sewell; great-aunt to many; treasured friend of Roger and Cindy Hansford.
Clarice worked for McMullen McPhee & Company for 38 years and volunteered as treasurer at the Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital Auxiliary. She was a longtime parishioner of the First Presbyterian Church of Elko where she enjoyed playing the hand bells and was very active in the North American Basque Organization. Clarice had a set of close friends referred to as "The Group" and was part of the Unstable Stables racing syndicate for many years.
She was a giving, friendly, loving woman to all and will be greatly missed.
