Every August it's time to enjoy the Annual Basque Festival in Saint Pierre and Miquelon, two small islands close to Newfounland and geografically part of North America, but polically French territory. Saint Pierre is a village with a lot of Basque heritage and a Basque pilota or handball court in its main section. Basque rural sports and 'Force Basque' are a importan part of the festival, as it is Basque pilota, music and food.
