Begoña Fair and festivals in Naguanagua, Venezuela
The Virgin of Begoña is the Patron Saint of the Venezuelan town of Naguanagua in the state of Carabobo. For two and a half weeks, from August 6 to 19th, Naguanagua will celebrate its traditional Fair of Begoña, including novenas at the Church of Begoña, along with other religious, musical, cultural, bullfighting and holiday events in general. The Basque Center of Carabobo will join them, paying their own contribution the 18th, with an all day long program organized around the replica of the Virgin of Begoña venerated at the euskal etxea. Zorionak to our Carabobeño readers and to all in Euskal Herria and the Diaspora celebrating at this time their Basque festivals and annual picnics.
