There is an inactive railway station in Rauch, in the province of Buenos Aires, in the locality of Egaña that unites Buenos Aires to the city of Tandil. This is where the Castle San Francisco is located, constructed at the beginning of the 20th Century, as a ranch house for the Diaz Velez family. The structure, that remained inhabited for decades and closed, is now counting on a commission in charge of working to maintain it and recuperate the property as well as the park that surrounds it. Invited by this commission, and by the Directorate for Tourism in Rauch, the Gure Txoko Basque club organized a Basque exhibit in the castle on April 26th and May 10th (photoEE)
