Donostia-San Sebastián. The Etxepare Basque Institute is looking for a technician/communication’s assistant. The deadline to apply is December 4th. The contract is for a six months internship contract, extendable up to a maximum of 2 years. A university degree in communication and a really good command of Basque and Spanish is required, as well as a high level of English with the ability to move comfortably on social media. The job will begin in January of 2021.

Would you like to work on the international promotion and dissemination of Euskera, Basque culture and the work of Basque creators? If you like to write and create contents and a fan of culture here is an opportunity for you. You could work at the Etxepare Basque Institute, located on Tabakalera in Donostia, in a dynamic and creative environment, where you can develop your communication skills.
Functions
- Write, correct and translate content related to Euskera and Basque culture
- Plan, create and publish texts and content for the website and the newsletter
- Write press releases and organize press conferences
- Monitor the appearance of the Institute in the media
- Manage social media
- Manage design work
- Participate in brand and communication projects
Requirements
- University degree, bachelors or master’s degree in Communication obtained in the last 5 years
- Excellent level of Basque and Spanish (minimum EGA)
- High level of English (equivalent of level C1)
- Great ability to write texts written in Basque and Spanish
- Ability to move comfortably on social media
- Proactive, ability to learn quickly and wiliness to take responsibility
- Experience in similar functions will be taken into account
- Knowledge of graphic design and video editing will be taken into account
Offer
- 30 hours a week (9:00 – 15:00)
- 6 months of an internship contract, extendable up to a maximum of 2 years
- Salary 21.000 Euros net a year
- To begin in January 2021
