Chino, California, USA. The Chino Basque Club is the referential Basque Club in the area of Greater Los Angeles. Founded in 1968 it's not the oldest in the area, that honor goes to the Southern California Basque Club founded in 1946 as the Southern California Eskualdun Club. The Chino Basque Club of Chinoko Euskal Etxea is the one with more members, more activities and more projection, and its own clubhouse, meeting point for many of the Basque action in the Valley, together with the Centro Basco Basque restaurant in Central Avenue.
The club’s website can be found at Chinobasqueclub.com and today we would like to highlight some of its content that reflect and show the history of the Basque club through a series of videos. To the creators of these images, and those who have created the website, our appreciation for their work and in particular, to the official club historian, Marianna Etcheverria.
