Macachín, Argentina. After five years, Semana Nacional Vasca returns to Macachin. As in 2015, the local Basque club, Euzko Alkartasuna will take responsibility for organizing the event, and will do so taking care of all the details, including the possibility of deciding its date along with participants and protagonists. This is why they are now requesting that the Basque-Argentine community share its opinion and vote to determine the date of the event.
The possible choices are:
-November 6-8 (Friday through Sunday)
-November 20-23 (Friday-Monday) since November 23rd is a holiday in Argentina.
Sources from Euzko Alkartasuna explain that due to the large distances, the round trips are long and some clubs and delegations won’t be able to participate in the event for more than one day. Due to this, the local Basque club provides the opportunity to celebrate on a long weekend extending the stay one day; the voucher, of course would be adapted to the extra day in a convenient low price so nobody would be excluded.
