San Francisco, CA. There will be a presentation of the Hotel Heredad de Unanue this Saturday at the San Francisco Basque Cultural Center’s Library. The hotel that was inaugurated at the end of last year in Donostia-San Sebastian combines its commercial aspect with a call to serve the Basque Diaspora. The establishment has embarked on the organization of cultural activities in order to promote the knowledge about the history, contribution and reality of the Basque Diaspora among the Basques of Donostia and the Basque Country.
All of this will be addressed at the presentation this Saturday, that will include an exhibit and projection of images of the historic building that was the Unanue-Zar farmhouse, now converted into a hotel, whose origins go back to the end of the 15th and beginning of the 16th centuries.
