Summer vacation has arrived to Argentina and the Southern Cone, and before taking the well-deserved break, members and friends of Basque clubs gather to say good-bye to the year: celebrating, enjoying traditions, as well as renewing their commitment to working hard for the Basque culture in the New Year.
Buenos Aires, Argentina. Today is Christmas Eve, and 2015 is almost over, so the Basque clubs are opening their doors to take a look back at the year as well as make a toast to the new one. Some are doing so with meetings at the clubhouse, to celebrate along with friends that they have worked elbow to elbow with during the year. At others, the party took to the streets to share Basque traditions with neighbors along with Christmas. In each case, the message is the same, commitment and love from the Diaspora for the Basque culture.
