Donostia-San Sebastian. The National University of La Plata (UNLP), based in La Plata, Argentina and the Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) based in Mexico City, are looking for positions to begin at the beginning of 2022. The deadline to apply is August 16th. Total salary is 20,000 Euros in Argentina and 17,000 in Mexico.
Some requirements include having a university degree (undergrad/grad) and have a leel C1 (PL3) or equivalent in Basque. Priority will be given to a Bachelor's Degree in Basque Philology, Basque Studies or Translation and Interpretation (Language to: Basque) and Master's Degrees in these subjects, as well as having an accredited level of C2 in Basque or PL4. In both cases they must present a syllabus in Basque and Basque Culture to the Etxepare Institute that they have developed.
At the National University of La Plata, the post will begin before February 1, 2022, in order to begin teaching the second week of March 2022. In Mexico, before, on January 17, 2022.
The Etxepare Basque Institute is conducting the call for both universities. Basque language and culture are taught at more than 35 universities around the world as part of the Etxepare Basque Institute Academic Network.
