Huertas is located in the East Village and serves up Basque-influenced fare, evoking the lively eating and drinking culture of the Basque Country and creatively inspired by the NYC. The restaurant has recently published two job offers: they are seeking for a line chef and a server. Pass the word!

-Line cook:

Full time. Hourly (Based on Experience). Min. Required Experience: 0-1 years. Offer expires Aug 2, 2015.

Job details:

Huertas is a Basque-inspired restaurant in Manhattan's East Village. We just celebrated our first year anniversary and are looking for a new cook to join the team. During our first year we built a great team and strong systems which we continue to hone and improve every day. Our menu changes daily, allowing our team members a great chance to learn new techniques and methods. In our first year we received a 2 star review from the New York Times, along with other positive reviews from Eater, Village Voice, and Travel and Leisure. Huertas is seeking an experienced and team-oriented server to join our team. Located in the East Village, Huertas is a Basque inspired Spanish restaurant comprised of two distinct dining experiences. Chef Jonah Miller, 2014 Zagat 30 Under 30 honoree, serves small bites and a menu of small and large dishes to share. After getting a two star review from the New York Times, Huertas is looking to add members to our front of house team.

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

- Minimum 1 year serving experience, ideally in a fine dining restaurant as a server, captain or bartender
- Passion for service and hospitality
- Technical proficiency in service
- Engaging personality and a commitment to continuously learning
- A deep appreciation for and knowledge of food & wine
- Sense of urgency and strong communication skills
