Tres Arroyos, Argentina. Yesterday, October 16th, the Hiru Erreka Basque Club in Tres Arroyos, in the province of Buenos Aires, celebrated its 20th birthday and began the festivities with a program that will run through the end of the week. The city wanted to join in the event and so the Ikurriña flew along with the flags of Argentinaand the province, on the masts at the Basque Plaza remodeled and inaugurated in October of 2017.
The Basque club began the celebration yesterday with mass in memory of deceased members at the chapel of the College of Adolescent Jesus. The festivities will continue on Saturday beginning at 10am at the clubhouse with a txistu and pander workshop organized by FEVA and taught by musicians from Denak Bat in Mar del Plata.
At 8pm at the Fanal (Pellegrini 802), there will be a Basque dance with a performance by the Cnel. Pringles Basque Club Choir at the City of Tres Arroyos Choir. Basque food will also be enjoyed and there will be Mus. Euskera will also represent in Basque dances by the local dantzaris.
