The course will be taught at the University of the Basque Country (UPV-EHU) October 6- November 25 in Donostia, and the deadline to enroll is October 6^th.  The course will be coordinated by Mari Jose Olaziregi (UPV/EHU) and Garbiñe Iztueta (Director for the Promotion and Diffusion of the Basque Language at the Etxepare Basque Institute).

Donostia-San Sebastian.   The University of the Basque Country is once again offering, in conjunction with the Etxepare Basque Institute, a training course aimed at Basque language and culture lecturers at centers of higher education abroad, October 6-November 25, with enrollment opening on September 4^th.

Enrollment will be open until October 6th.  Course participants will be selected strictly by order of arrival of the bank receipt accompanied by enrollment. The information about registration and the course is available here..

One of the main objectives is to train professors and lecturers who will teach Euskera as a foreign language.  This training has been designed considering the needs on the ground, and is aimed at undergrad and graduate students who wish to occupy one of the posts in a center of higher education and universities abroad that the Etxepare Institute has established through its agreements of collaboration.

The course is aimed at both undergraduate and graduate students in the humanities that comply with the following linguistic criteria (EGA or equivalent).  Nevertheless, if there is room, the course will also be opened to students from other colleges.  The class will take place on the Donostia campus on Fridays from 4pm-8:20pm and on Saturdays from 9am-1:20pm

The course will include such topics as linguistics, didactics, and methodology, as well as culture and civilization.
