José C. Paz, Argentina. The local Euskal Etxea already has a road map for 2020. Activities will begin this Saturday with Basque classes taught by irakasle Dario Rodriguez, as well as dancing taught by Agustina Olaizola (adults) and Agustina Etcheberry (txikis). Literary and gastronomic workshops will also begin in March; the first is open to the community taught by Lidia Lucia Lechardoy, and the second that will include the preparation and tasting of typical dishes will be taught by Basque club members Blanca, Camila, Marta and Ángeles.
Throughout the year, Toki Eder will also host talks on gender by Paula Basaldua, on the history of Jose C. Paz by Celeste Castiglione: about costumes and typical Basque dress by Magdalena Mignaburu, and about Basque history with the presence of Aitor Pescador Medrano.
The Basque club will also commemorate the anniversary of the Bombing of Gernika, Aberri Eguna, Saint Ignatius and Basque Diaspora Day; and will also join in the Dantzari Gathering on April 14th in Cañuelas, Buenos Aires Celebrates 2020; and the Txiki Gathering in Llavallol, as well as Semana Nacional Vasca in Macachin.
Withoug a doubt, one of the most important dates for the club is June 7th, the day it will celebrate its 24th anniversary. As is tradition, they will do so with paella, dancing and a musical show.
