Time is running out to participate in “Irudimena,” Let your imagination go and create something new!

There is still time, if you want to participate in the “Irudimena” contest organized for the fourth year by Euskal Kultur Erakundea, the Basque Cultural Institute in Iparralde, and the Azkue Foundation. The goal is to encourage artistic creation among Basques, and so the contest offers a very original challenge: choose a sound and create something completely new from it. Are you up for it? You have until May 16th to submit your work.

Uztaritze, Lapurdi. For the fourth year in a row, Euskal Kultur Erakundea in collaboration with the Azkue Foundation has launched the creative contest, Irudimena (Imagination in Basque). The deadline to submit entries is May 16^th, so if you are interested you still have time to participate.

The contest proposes that you choose one of the 9 sounds from the sound map of Euskal Herria and transform it into something new.

Contestants have three options:

Create a new sound (Of any kind, music, singing, mixing…).
Write a text in Basque (of any genre, poetry, narrative, description, bertsos…)
Create an image (photo, drawing, picture…).
