Santa Rosa, Argentina. The second edition of the meeting of Collectivities in La Pampa took place on Sunday, April 7th and included a surprise that delighted the organizers: twice the number of people attending than in 2018. The local Basque club remarked that some 30,000 people attended the Festival that included booths by Italians, Venezuelans, Basques, Bolivians, Germans and Arabs who operated their food places and shared their cultural traditions. Together with that, these collectivities as well as the Spanish took the stage to present their dances, and typical music.
In the case of the Zelaiko Euskal Etxea, the dance group, Euskal Kimuak recently formed and directed by Jorgelina Chapartegui debuted on stage at the event with dances like Aurresku, Fandango and Arin Arin.

At their food stand, the Basques offered lentils, chorizo in red wine, squid and goxua. In order to do this, they counted on the help of club members, as well as youth visiting from Bizkaia including Haizea Otaola, David López and Amaia Frade who were in Santa Rosa as part of a scholarship program through the University of the Basque Country.
