Summer is here and the academic year is over, although new classes will begin at the UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico) that won’t stop. Nor will the classes in Basque language or culture that are taught with the support of the Etxepare Basque Institute, by professor Haizea Elizondo Gorroño. In fact the classes for next semester were just published with offerings in both Basque language and culture in various levels.
Mexico City, Mexico. With the support of the Etxepare Basque Institute, UNAM, through its Center for Foreign Language Instruction CELE proposes new courses in Euskera and Basque culture. These are graduate level classes, also aimed at post-docs at the university, but are also open to teachers, and students of all types, as well as people from the outside who would like to enroll.
Here are next semester’s classes:
Euskera: 3 hours a week/ astean 3 ordu
Beginners / 1. maila:
Tuesday and Thursday from 15:00 to 16:30 in Room 6 of the CELE.

Third Level / 3. maila:
Tuesdays from 16:30 to 18:30 and homework (60 minutes worth a week)
