If the Tamborrada has a lot of followers in the Diaspora, in Necochea, Argentina, it is lived with a true passion.  That is what it is in the Basque club in Necochea where they once again dedicated an entire week to the celebration, the children and adults as well put on drums and launched into the marches of Sarriegi.  What’s more, in the middle of summer!  We leave you with some photos taken by the Basque club.

Necochea, Argentina.  The San Sebastian week festivities started in Necochea on January 20, while in Donostia and Azpeitia in the Basque Country were also immersed in the Tamborrada.  Necochea started with them, but sounds of the drummers dimmed after a few hours in the Basque Country while in Argentina, they continued with a Pintxo Eguna, dance workshops and plaza dancing thanks to Patxi Perez and a huge party at the club on Saturday the 24th.

Here is a photo of the group who celebrated the Tamborrada in Necochea and behind, on the balcony of the Constitution Plaza, the mayor of the celebration, Luis Dominguez:

It would be impossible to communicate everything that went on during the week, but we gather some photos here of the Tamborrada festivities in Necochea.
