Donostia-San Sebastian. San Sebastian Day gathers more fans in the Diaspora year after year and every year more and more clubs organize events, and some, including their own Tamborrada. This year, the festival landed on a weekend, and so there were more celebrations than ever. That is how it was, for example, in Arrecifes, Argentina, where the Basque club tried out its new Danborrada (or Tamborrada)and organized a very festive event as seen in this video:

In Mexico, the Basque club showed its expertise in this event, and its Danborrada played very well for another year, directed by Drum Director Alfredo Jover. As usual the club filled to capacity with members and friends ready to enjoy one of the liveliest events at the club.

The sounds of the drums reached Australia, thanks to the Gure Txoko Basque club in Sydney. The club enjoyed a first-rate meal prepared by Peru Almandoz, chef from Donostia. In Madrid the Euskal Etxea celebrated a dinner the night before in a local restaurant, and on Sunday took to the streets for the children’s Danborrada that was once again a success, delighting parents and family members alike.
