Rome, Italy. The new edition of Settimana Basca is here, a week of activities that the Associazione Culturale Euskera and the Basque Language Department at UPTER organize to warm up the winter Roman temperatures. The events will begin on the International Day of Euskera and will continue all week long with numerous cultural and social activities.
Here is the Settimana Basca 2013 program:
December 3rd
-19:00 Basque Party. Aperitif and screening of the feature length animated film Gartxot, presentation of the sound Map by Lazio and screening of videos, Di-esan, at the Zpazio Oxygen, Via San Tommaso D’Aquino. 11/a (Metro Cipro) Event is open to the public and free of charge.
December 4th
-18:30. Book presentation Filo d’erba (Belarreren Ahoa) by Harkaitz Cano and presentation of the Libe edizioni Publisher. At the Giufa bookstore – Via degli Aurunci, 38 (San Lorenzo). Event is open to the public and free of charge.
December 5th
-21:00. Documentary Gazta zati bat by Jon Maia at the Cineclub Detour, Via Urbana, 106 (Rione Monti). Entry fee 3 Euros.
December 6th
-19:00. Pintxos! Gastronomic evening and theater and music performances. At the Hula Hoop, Via De Magistris, 91 (Pigneto). Event is open to the public and free of charge.
December 7th
-22:00 Concert by Joseba Tapia and Luis Fernandez (guitar and cello). At the Cinema America Occupato, Via N. del Grande, 6 (Trastevere). Event is open to the public and free of charge.
