Yesterday’s Official Bulletin of the Basque Country included the “Resolution of May 4 from the Director of the Basque Community Abroad in regards to grants to Basque clubs for individuals in extreme need and healthcare.” The article provides access and links to the name lists. Recipients belong to the following countries: Argentina, Chile. Colombia, Cuba, uruguay and Venezuela.
Vitoria-Gasteiz. The Official Bulletin of the Basque Country published in yesterday’s edition, May 14, the Resolution of May 4 by the Director of the Basque Community Abroad, Asier Vallejo Itsaso, in regards to grants to Basque club aimed at individuals needing Healthcare, or in situations of extreme need in Basque communities abroad.
Grants will be awarded to Basque clubs who applied in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Uruguay and Venezuela
-15 applications were disqualified for not meeting the requirements: Argentina (8), Chile (1), Uruguay (1), and Venezuela (5)
-Another 15 applications were “denied having exhausted the budget,” Argentina (8), Uruguay (3) and Venezuela (4)
Grants to be awarded are destined for Argentina, Colombia, Cuba, Uruguay, Chile and Venezuela, distributed in the following manner:
-Argentina (11 euskal etxeas and 18 applicants): Ayacucho (2), Buenos Aires-Garai Fundazioa (1), Buenos Aires-Laurak Bat (1), Chacabuco (2), Coronel Pringles (1), Corpus Christi (1), La Plata (1), Mar del Plata (1), Rosario (5), San Juan (1), Tandil (2)
-Chile (2 euskal etxeas and 16 applicants): Santiago (1), Valparaiso (15)
-Colombia (1): Bogotá (1)
-Cuba (41): Habana (41)
-Uruguay (3): San Jose (1), Trinidad (2)
-Venezuela (2): Valencia-Naguanagua (2)
