Boise, Idaho, USA. In a context in which a good part of the usual sources of income have been affected, or completely declined by the pandemic, entities like the Basque Museum and Ikastola in Boise, which is under the Museum’s umbrella, continue fighting to maintain themselves, adapting in some cases to a virtual environment. They continue to count on the Basque community and the local Basque-speaking public with activities like the auction that began last Saturday.
As announced by EuskalKultura.eus, last Saturday a Benefit Dinner and Concert took place in Boise virtually organized to raise funds for the aforementioned local Basque institutions, with the participation of Basque musicians in the Basque Country as well as in the US. It was a big success. Part of the event was an auction of objects and services donated by entities and individuals to help support the effort.
It is still possible to participate in the auction and bidding is still open online through April 25th so anyone who would like to collaborate with the Basque Museum and Ikastola in Boise still has a chance, while taking advantage of one of the many objects or services offered there.
