The initiative is part of the professional Networking Service at the Provincial Government of Bizkaia through Bizkaia Talent to attract and connect with highly-qualified Basque researchers and professionals that work in third (party) countries.  To date, nearly 340 professionals and 37 companies have participated in Be Basque Talent Conferences organized by Bizkaia Talen in Munich, Barcelona, Stuttgart, Hannover, Toulouse, Amsterdam and Dublin. 

Hamburg, Germany.   Hamburg welcomed 45 highly-qualified professionals, last weekend at the 9^th edition of the Be Basque Talent Conference, an initiative of the Department of Economic and Territorial Development of the Provincial Government of Bizkaia through Bizkaia Talent.  Also in attendance were development agencies, clusters and Basque companies: BEAZ, SPRI, the aeronautic cluster Hegan, the Leartikery Research Center, and companies Sener, Grupo Velatia, Laulagun and Ieteam, according to information published by the organizers.

The goal of the conference is to get to know firsthand the current situation and future of strategic sectors, as well as development and career possibilities in the event of professional migrants who pt to return and/or link to projects developed in the Basque Country.

Be Basque Talent Conferences have offered these 45 professional participants the opportunity to get to know more about the current socio-economic and scientific-technological situation and future of the territory, discuss matters related to the mobility of talent, as well as participate in thematic workshops and maintain personal talks with the representatives of 8 entities and companies that have gone to Germany.

The Basque companies and institutions also enjoy this unique opportunity to meet with people with high-level skills and technical capabilities and an extensive international background, while learning firsthand about the current situation and future of their company, as well as the possibility of development and professional careers that they provide. In this way, the meeting provides the possibility of encouraging high-level professional networking in a relaxed environment and to get to know what the concerns and worries of these professionals are.

To date, nearly 340 professionals and 37 companies have participated in Be Basque Talent Conferences organized by Bizkaia Talent in Munich, Barcelona, Stuttgart, Hannover, Toulouse, Amsterdam and Dublin.  In this way, work and business collaborations have emerged as a result of these conferences, as well as the high-level networking created from these contacts that have contributed to the high level of satisfaction that these participants have shown with respect to these meetings.
