Neuquén, Argentina. Last weekend, the Comahue Basque Club took another step and participated for the fourth time in the Neuquen Festival of Collectvities. This year, they had a new contribution with the newly formed dance group who debuted in their typical costumes on the festival’s main stage accompanied by club standard-bearer, Juan Carlos Sartuqui. Over the days of the event, November 8-10, the Basque club also had a cultural stand and participated in the closing parade.
The Euskal Etxea was very satisfied with this new step and they thank “the dantzaris as well as each of the collaborators that allowed the Basque community to once again represent at this important event.”
The current edition of the Neuquen Festival of Collectivities took place at the Duam space and beside the Basques it gathered entities and groups representing Germany, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Egypt, Slovenia, Spain, Hungry, Israel, Italy, Lebanon, Paraguay, Peru, Senegal, Syria, Ukraine and Venezuela.
