Magdalena, Argentina. Encouraged by the new air that the local Euskal Etxea breathes, the Basque community of Magdalena, in the province of Buenos Aires, celebrated San Sebastian Day with a ceremony in Memory Park. There, members and friends of the Ongi Etorri Basque Club, planted an oak and unveiled a commemorative plaque. The event was also attended by city officials including Mayor Gonzalo Peluso.
As part of the event, and in line with what was happening on that day in San Sebastian, the Basque club concluded the ceremony with a tamborrada. See photos here.
