Montpellier, France. Basques in Montpellier celebrated another edition of the Eskualdunak’s Basque Festival, one of the club’s most important events that it has celebrated since 1983, as club sources told EuskalKultura.com.
More than 120 people including members and guests attended dressed in white and red and enjoyed a wonderful day. The festivities began at 11am with mass, followed by an aperitif or 'zintzur-bustitzea' on the patio. There, Jean Louis Bergara, who was invited from the Basque Country, got some started dancing, and the time until lunch was spent doing fandangos, mutxikos and singing.
Then attendees enjoyed a meal in the main hall and afterwards they danced through the evening with a group from Bergara that added a lot of entertainment and atmosphere.
