Mendoza, Argentina. The Denak Bat Basque Club in Mendoza inaugurated its 2020 activities yesterday with beginning Basque classes. There will also be some new additions thanks to an agreement with the city with the club being the site for five workshops: English, Korean, Portuguese, Italian and photography. “These workshops will take place on the first floor, and even if they aren’t exactly in line with our goals to share the Basque culture, there is no doubt that they will expand our cultural offerings, and introduce more people to us,” local Basque teacher, Lautaro Pincheira, told EuskalKultura.eus.
There will also be other offerings open to the public like the Film Series followed by a pintxo tasting. The first event of the year will take place on the last Saturday in March.
The Denak Bat Basque Club also let us know that they will continue games and its Mus Workshop, along with the Gaztetxe activities on Fridays beginning at 9:00pm.
Information on the club’s activities and celebrations is available on Facebook.
