Valencia, Spain. The Laurak Bat Basque Club in Valencia announced an express Euskera course that begins on February 15th with classes “online for now, and in person once circumstances permit it.” Classes are on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:30-9pm from February to June. “Our goal is for local people, previous knowledge is not necessary. The course runs for five months but the content will be the equivalent of an entire term that will include more work on grammar and maybe a little less practice,” German Eiguren, the teacher in charge of it explained to EuskalKultura.eus.
Due to the pandemic and by order of authorities, associations like the Euskal Etxea are closed in Valencia, and so in person classes are not possible at this time, requiring all to take place online. The hope is though, that they will be able to return quickly to in person classes, Eiguren said.
Interested persons can enroll by emailing cvasconavarro@yahoo.es or by calling or sending a message via WhatsApp to (34) 609949961.
