Barranquilla, Colombia. Iker Guillermo Lopez writes from the Karibeko Euskal Etxea to send an invitation to anyone wishing to support the Basque Club's new campaign called “Euskaraz Kolonbia,” that has just begin “aimed at everyone in the world, especially Colombians that don’t know Basque but would like to get more acquainted with the Basque language and culture.
The initiatives seeks “to contribute to the diffusion of the Basque culture and symbolically increase the number of Basque speakers in the country, while introducing others “to the Basque language and culture in an entertaining way so that Basque might enjoy more spaces and more popularity in our territory and the world.”
To participate in this game or recreational proposal follow these steps:
-Send an email to Euskobarranquilla@gmail.com with “Euskaraz Kolonbia,” in the subject line asking to participate
-You will receive a phrase or short refrain in Basque as your response that you should memorize
-You should record yourself in a video and send it including your name, city and country
-This material will be edited and uploaded on the club’s Instagram account @Casa.Vasca, for everyone to enjoy
Deadline to participate is Wednesday, March 10th
