Pamplona-Iruña. “Essential,” shows the role during the pandemic of Navarrese people born in other countries and is the first public awareness campaign that the Government of Navarre launches under the brand “Navarre in Colors – Nafarroa Koloretan” (see the presentation here). “Essential,” shows eight absolutely real protagonists without adornment or make-up, portrayed at their workplaces.  Eight migrants, “Navarrese born in other countries, that tell their story in first person sending the community a message of optimism and confidence ‘We are Navarrese, and we are going to get out of this,’” they assert in the campaign.

The campaign, that begins on November 16th in print and audiovisual media, in outdoor spaces and on social media reflects the testimonies of Adil, Embarca, Ermelinda, Iordan, Jacques, María Esther, Paola and Zhicong. They work in medicine, nursing homes, hairdressers, in the fields, supermarkets, bakeries and cleaning services. "They are Navarrese born in Morocco, the Sahara, Guatemala, Bulgaria, Bolivia, Ecuador, China ..."
