Tres Arroyos, Argentina. The local Basque club in Tre Arroyos is celebrating its first 20 years and will do so with a party. As such, it is inviting dance groups of all ages and from all Basque clubs to come join them in a show that the club will put on Saturday, October 19th. Along with dancing, there will also be music and choir performances from Basque clubs as well as the Municipal Choir. Basque club who participate in the event will get one free drink and free admission to the event, according to club sources.
As part of the festivities, the Basque club will also be the site of a txistu and pander workshop, organized by FEVA and taught by musicians from the Denak Bat Basque Club in Mar del Palta. Anyone wishing to participate still have time to enroll until September 30th.
The 20th Anniversary festivities at Hiru Erreka will be on October 19th beginning at 8pm at the El Fanal Hall (Pellegrini 802). Dinner will be as a cantina and the evening will conclude with a dance.
