Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Focos Foundation of Social Commitment for Action invites writers aged 18 and older, regardless of gender or nationality, to present unpublished works on the subject “Women Immigrants in Argentina.” Texts may be journalistic notes, interviews/reports, short stories or poems about immigrant women who have resided or residing in Argentina currently and reflect “the social commitment of these women, understanding this as the individual and/or collective responsibility to develop solidarity activities in different areas of human development (for example, social, cultural, educational, sports and/or health, etc).”
Authors of the chosen works will receive a certificate and the works will be published as part of an e-book that will be distributed free of charge. The book presentation will take place at cultural events, book fairs and different recognized spaces of culture that contribute to the authors’ dissemination.
