Besides the huge local Basque participation, the festivities will also have guests coming from the Basque Country like the groups Kalakan and Emon.  The event will also feature the language of Euskal Herria with initiatives such as “Euskodromo,” a space designed specifically for speaking Basque.  Other proposals include txikiteos, cider day, dances, and artistic demonstrations and evenings. 

Necochea, Argentina.   Just a bit more than a month away, the Euzko Etxea in Necochea has published the program for Semana Nacional 2016.  The events will begin on Monday 7, but as usual, the main activities will take place Friday-Sunday.  To spread news of the event and encourage peple to attend, the Basque club launched this promotional video.

As part of Semana Nacional there will be an international Pilota Tournament organized by the World Council of Basque Pilota on December 3-4.
