Corpus Christi, Argentina. A team of Eusko Etxea in Corpus Christi began an art workshop last Saturday that will create graffiti murals. The activity will include four session where attendees will learn about symbols and characteristic elements of the Basque culture as well as of Jesuit-Guarani, about composition and color arrangements, and on graffiti techniques.
At the same time, they will prepare materials to Paint a mural with a Basque and Jesuit-Guarani theme that will adorn the town's Basque Plaza. This will take place on Saturday, June 1st beginning at 8am and will run all day long. Once the task is complete, the mural will be part of the plaza, just like the oak that the Euskal Etxea planted last year.
The workshop is taught on Saturdays by Valeria Garibotti, with the collaboration of Olga Leiciaga and Estela Garma from the club.
