Gral. Rodríguez, Argentina. The local Basque club celebrated two occasions “of great importance for the institution” and did so gathering more than 160 guests for dinner, mainly locals but also representatives of Basque clubs in Cañuelas, Las Heras, José C. Paz, Pilar, Luján, Moreno and the capital. The dinner entertainment was provided by the dantzaris accompanied by two 'buruhandiak', and a musical show by local artist Roxana Ceraso. At midnight, when it was then September 8th in Argentina, the club’s president, Juan Itcea, read a manifest about the Day of the Diaspora
As at every birthday party, it was time for presents, and it was up to Mariangeles Oñederra, to present a gift to the club on behalf of FEVA, two books on Basque art that will enhance its library. ALCO and the local Rotary Club also accompanied the Basques at the celebration.

The evening concluded with a toast to the club’s 20 years as well as for the Day of the Basque Diaspora, along with birthday cake for all present decorated with the Argentine flag and the Ikurriña.
