Along with the film series, the Basque club is planning other activities for 2015 including the celebration of its first birthday. That is why, and in hopes of repeating last year’s success, they are organizing a taberna to share food and dance in September. According to club president, Manuel Bustingorry, they are hoping that another Basque club in the area will participate along with that from Bariloche who accompanied them in 2014.
Even if get-togethers and celebrations hold a special place on the calendar of Young club, it has also determined other priorities that to do with the economic autonomy of the institution. “We are looking for information on social media to try to locate some sheep in hopes of being able to make cheese, taking advantage of our members, some whom are from Pamplona, and were dedicated to this activity there. Besides we already have enough Patxaran on the way. The goal is to find options so that we become self-sustaining” Bustingorry explained to EuskalKultura.com.
