Donostia-San Sebastian. The Etxepare Basque Institute has published a new call for grant applications, this time geared towards programs and activities that strive to promote and disseminate the Basque culture outside of the geographical scope of Euskera. Proposed activities must take place, or must have taken place during 2011. Both private and public entities may apply as long as, on the date of application, they are residents of the Basque Country, the Spanish state or any other country of the European Union or the European Economic Area.
The project budget is 88.676 Euros, allowing a maximum award of 13.391 Euros per entity. It should be noted that the grant is meant to fund up to 60% of the entire budget, that is, each applicant is responsible for at least 40% of the proposed project budget.
The deadline to apply is August 11, 2011. All applicants should send all requested documentation directly to the Institute’s offices: Etxepare Basque Institute, Prim 7, 20006-Donostia, Gipuzkoa. Applications may also be sent through any other medium available as presented in the Law 30/1992, of November 26, of the Legal Regime of Public Administration and Common Administrative Procedure.
For further information, contact the Etxepare Basque Institute (Prim 7, 20006 Donostia) or by calling 943 023 400.
