The Lehendakari stressed that some of the pillars of the Strategy of Internationalization, that includes development of the “Euskadi Basque Country,” brand, the promotion of sectoral interests, the commitment of the 2030 Agenda, support for the European project, the World Congress of Basque communities and the attraction of talent and knowledge in international relations.
Despite the changing context of this year, where European elections have been held, and the new Commission has been launched; the “eternal” Brexit has not just ended; where the commercial and digital war between the US and China intensifies; and there is a serious economic and social crisis in several Latin American countries, the Lehendakari stressed that the Basque Government has continued to deploy its internationalization framework strategy.
